Yesterday, we had our home inspection for foster care. A very lovely lady by the name of Val came to our home to check if we had the necessary items the county requires for foster homes such as beds, space in the home and vehicles, fire alarms in working order etc. We had been talking about getting bunk beds for Ruthe's room since her full size bed took up so much space and this foster care inspection just sped up that thought process. She was bubbling with excitement to see them get put together and pick out bedding. We could not of bought her a toy that made her more excited than this. It was not just getting bunk beds that made her excited but getting bunk beds to share with a possible sister! 
and of course she picked the top bunk to be her bed!

Wow, you guys are so giving to take on being foster parents while raising your children also. We have a family at church who became foster parents and recently adopted one of the children that came under their care. You rock! How's the church plant?
