Inquiring minds want to know

Many have called to ask or have facebooked to see how my doctors appointment went this past Wednesday. I do still have placenta previa, however, it is borderline. Dr. Shuman is concerned because of the many c-sections I have had. In my situation, the placenta could attached to my c-section scars and cause damage to my uterus. If this is the case, worst case scenerio is I might need a historectomy at the time of my c-section. Not a good thing since I will only be thirty years old. She did say that she would be able to leave my ovaries and that I would have my own hormones so I would not have the hormone issues some women struggle with. Still not very good though. At this point, I am schedule to see the high risk doctor on August 7th (the soonest they could get me in) for another ultrasound to hopefully determine where exactly the placenta is sitting and if it is attaching itself to anything. The good news is baby Moses is perfectly healthy and growing just like he should! Pray for us that the doctors will be able to see clearly where the placenta is and that we will not have to go through the "worst case scenerio."
