The month of December is usually crazy with the ton of Christmas activities to attend but this year it seems to be especially crazy! It might have something to do with the fact that we will only be in our frosty state of Virginia for only one week out of the whole month. The first week and a half our family parted ways, Clint & Ruthe went to Iceland to encourage and bring goodies to our wonderful missionary friends the Garmans in Iceland while the boys and I ventured 13 hours down to the great Sunshine State to welcome home my baby brother who has been in Iraq for the last year.
We all had a great time on our trips but were very thankful to be back together again. This week is the one week we are actually home and it has been nuts. We have been trying to catch up from being gone and get ready to leave again next week. This time we ALL are traveling down to visit family for Christmas and celebrate my Dad's 50th birthday. Glad I don't have to drive 13 hours by myself again! I think I'll let Clint do all the driving this trip :)
