Mount Vernon

Clint's day off is usually on Friday but this week it had to change to Wednesday so to make it up to us he declared a "Famliy Fun Day." After a little research on the internet we decided to visit George Washington's home, Mount Vernon. At first the kids were not very excited but once we got there and they saw everything to do, they perked right up. Some of our favorite things from the day were Washington's dentures, the animals, the film about his life, meeting Martha Washington, and seeing their mansion. We all learned quite a bit about George Washington and his life. Clint topped off this very fun "Family Fun Day" with Pizza Hut for dinner. The kids had a great time and were completely wiped out by the time we headed for home... yet another successful "Family Fun Day."
