I am all about teaching them independence

Until today! I like teaching my kids how to do things for themselves. It makes me feel like I have accomplished something great when they can do a task all by their self that they once needed me to do. It is also kind of sad because it is a reminder that they are growing up to fast! Today I growled at myself for this "teaching of independence." I was swapping the laundry and as I was doing so I notice a lot of paper looking stuff all over the clothes. I thought, "Clint left another piece of paper in his pocket!" But as I got close to the bottom of the washer I found the culprit... Isaiah's pull-up. Sorry that I blamed you honey! Isaiah is to the point where he can dress himself and get his dirty clothes to the laundry basket. Apparently now we need to work on making sure he gets his pull-up out of his pajamas before putting them in the laundry basket. Oh well, one thing at a time!
