Money is sooo nasty!

The kids at Pillar were given jugs to collect money for the Indonesia trip and this past Sunday was the day to bring them back. Since Clint has been sick and not feeling back up to par, I was the luckily one who got to count and roll all the change they brought in. Thankfully, Todd had a great little machine where you just drop the change in and it places it in the right spot for the right coin roll. It definitely saved me a lot of time! However from touching all that change my hands turned a blackish green color. It was so nasty! And to think our children were collecting all that money and dropping it into their jugs...gross! On top of my hands turning colors you would not believe all the extra things I found in those change jugs. It ranged from Chuck E. Cheese coins, a euro coin, small twig, a screw, a piece of plastic, and candy trash. Thats not counting all the hair that I found. I could probably have a DNA test done on every family that turned in a jug from all the hair. Lets just say it was quite an interesting job. Maybe next time I'll just let Clint do it whenever he is feeling better. Oh, the kids collected almost $300! They are amazing!
