Christmas in Florida

The day after Christmas we drove with my parents down to Florida. We made it back just in time for my Grandma's 80th birthday bash the following day which was just the start to a crazy week.

Clint preached at our home church, Peniel, that Sunday.

On Monday we attempted to take the kids to Sea World but when we got there it was closed due to max capacity. Apparently, lots of other people had the same idea so instead we went to Downtown Disney saw the shops and really cool places there. The kids were already excited about Disney because Uncle Jonathan had just told us a few days before that our Christmas present was he was taking us to Disney World when he came home in February so they were not to disappointed about the whole Sea World thing.

Tuesday, we went to St. Augustine to meet up with Aunt Shawn and Uncle Clarence for lunch. We visited the lighthouse and ventured down to the beach.

Wednesday, Aunt Melissa, Uncle Peewee and Sami came into town so we did Christmas that evening.

Thursday, we had a friend of ours take some pictures of all of Clint's family. She did a good job and captured the moment we hoped... all of us being together which does not happen often enough!

Friday, we tried to drive back to Virginia but got stuck in traffic which seemed to be the theme for this trip because it happen on Saturday also. A 12-13 hour trip turned into a 16-17 hour trip. Oh well, at least we made it home!
