A Special Treat

The Sunday before Christmas, Noah was encouraged by his teacher at church to do something special for Mom and Dad. Well, as soon as my parents got here that was all he was able to talk about. He started telling my Mom/Nan that they needed to cook us breakfast but not on Christmas because that was when Papa was cooking omelets. They decided Christmas Eve would be appropriate. Noah had it all planned out and was telling Nan what needed to be done. It was hilarious! My Mom/Nan was cracking up; latter on she probably was cursing his teacher as Noah bossed her around the kitchen. However, they were quite the little helpers, well, not really Isaiah but definitely Noah and Ruthe.

Thanks Kacey! It was the best pancake breakfast ever! Feel free to tell them things like this any time.

This first pic is the very cute coupon he made to go with our breakfast...

Breakfast in bed sounds yummy and it looked like a bunch of fun.

I was happy to hear it was such a big hit! The idea was that we should show others how valuable they are; just as the three wisemen showed the value of Jesus when they brought Him expensive gifts. Because you dislike mornings and messy breakfast preparations :), I thought that Noah did a really good job of picking something of value.

Evan's coupon was for one basement cleaning. We plan to redeem this weekend!
