What a world-wind!

Last Sunday after church we drove to Chattanooga, TN to visit Mambi (my grandmother) who has been very ill. While there, we were able to see quite a bit of family including my Mom who was there helping take care of Mambi and Brian and Kim Metz. The kids did pretty good for a ten hour car ride. They were quite excited when they awoke the next morning and realized cousin Railey had a pool in her back yard. Railey was a great with the kids; she kept them entertained often which allowed us some quiet time with Mambi.

Some highlights from our few days there:
Swimming with Railey, visiting family, watching Uncle Doug shoot the bow & arrow, riding the riding lawnmower, riding on Uncle Doug's fishing boat, the huge box of Little Debbie's from Uncle Doug's friends, Playworld Downunder, McKay's used bookstore, all of Aunt Cris and Aunt Teresa's animals, Railey putting Ruthe's hair in little tiny braids all over her head, visiting with Brian and Kim Metz, and an Unclaimed baggage store (absolutely amazing!)

We left Chattanooga on Wednesday early afternoon and on Thursday began the craziness of preparing for the Indonesia yard sale which happened today. I don't think I have ever been so completely exhausted. However, the yard sale was very profitable! Thank you Jesus!
